“I’ve been in isolation for two weeks now and working from home right next to my partner, my days weirdly seem to run even faster than usual. This scenario still has the charm of the novelty and part of me is enjoying discovering this daily intimacy, or the idea of being creative without a set deadline. On the flip side for the first time since I moved to London I am experiencing the fear of being away from my family in Italy. I am proud of the sense of unity that my home country has armed itself with to fight this pandemic and I am dreading the self-destructive energy that London can release in a panic scenario so despite the constant flood of fear statements, I am trying to focus on the idea that only unity and mutual support can help us through this moment.
